  • Audits accounting, financial, and operational records by applying professional accounting and auditing principles generally accepted in the USA contained in Governmental Auditing Standards.
  • Audits financial records, departments and tenants to maintain fulfillment of financial and operational responsibilities.
  • Evaluates the effectiveness of the internal control environment for each audit.
  • Assesses risk and applies appropriate audit procedures.
  • Identifies inefficient practices and assesses alternatives that may yield improvements.
  • Reviews concessionaire’s annual statement of gross revenues to determine contract compliance and revenue obligations.
  • Performs research on policies, laws, and ordinances to evaluate compliance.
  • Performs statistical analysis and other methods for evaluating data.
  • Prepares detailed written audit reports for executive management.
  • Able to adhere to the department's ethics and conduct policy and supplemental ethics policy
  • Ability to meet set deadlines
  • 2 to 4 years of internal or external auditing or related experience
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
  • Certified Internal Auditor (Preferred but not mandatory)

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Estimated taxes
  • Collect relevant financial documents form your clients for their tax return
  • Ensure to collect all of the clients’ relevant tax documentation
  • Review data and detect possible errors, ensuring all data is entered correctly
  • Answer tax- and finance-related questions
  • Advise individuals and companies on tax strategies
  • Informing clients on the tax preparation process
  • Input data from financial documents into the tax return software
  • Upload the relevant documentation to the tax software
  • Act as a professional representative for the company to the clients
  • Build customer relationships to promote and expand the business
  • PTIN required before hiring
  • Weekly pay by direct deposit
  • $100 Paid per each IRS accepted return (please note the salary type does not allow per return as a choice)
  • Work From Home Anywhere in the US
REQUIREMENTS
  • Experience as a Tax Preparer or a similar role
  • Good knowledge of tax preparation software
  • General knowledge of deductions and how they can benefit the client
  • Comprehensive understanding of government tax laws
  • Excellent computational ability
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
